This is possible with middleware that connects to gaming machines and sends their alerts to staff's mobile phones. With faster problem resolution, higher machine uptime, enhanced attention for VIP guests, and more efficient jackpot payouts, the casino's guest experience has improved.
Every event on each slot machine is recorded with a special code which goes through the Amcom Software Commtech Messenger system. This is where it's filtered and sent on to the right person via mobile phone, with a text message that includes the nature of the alert and the location. The system can detect if someone is already on a service call and escalate it to another available staff member, which saves a lot of time and results in better service.
The casino dealers can also send a service alert through the system using a touch screen panel at each table. Repair technicians can respond quickly to the problem without a separate trip to the table just to determine the nature of the issue. With more than 400 tables to keep in operation, this added efficiency generates big savings in a very short time.
