Amcom Software Enhances KIRK Support in Latest Fusion Product Release

  • Fusion version 2.4 enables key clinical and safety systems to integrate with the latest devices carried by mobile staff to ensure fast response

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – July 1, 2010 – Amcom Software, Inc. today announced that the 2.4 release of its Fusion mobile event notification solution features expanded support for Polycom phone systems, including seamless integration of the KIRK 8000 platform. The Fusion product provides simple and reliable connectivity between clinical alarm systems such as nurse call, patient monitoring, and fire panels with mobile staff's wireless devices. The result is shorter response times during critical alarm situations that can affect hospital patients, hotel guests, and others in a range of industries.

Fusion integrates with and enhances the current capabilities of wireless voice solutions such as the KIRK 8000 telephone system. This new integration is in addition to a host of existing options Amcom Software customers currently leverage, such as sending messages to a variety of wireless devices, email systems, smartphones, SMS, cellular phones, and pagers.
