Amcom Software Releases Enhanced Version of Its Fusion Middleware Solution

Fusion version 3.0 enables faster messaging from alarm systems to wireless devices

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – November 14, 2011 – Amcom Software, Inc. today announced that it has released version 3.0 of its Fusion mobile event notification solution. The Fusion solution detects alert information from systems such as nurse call, security, fire alarms, hospitality systems, and others, and directs important notifications to the appropriate staff members' wireless devices.

In this latest update, Amcom has greatly improved the performance of the Fusion solution. This release ensures messages from third-party systems and responses from a variety of end point devices are delivered faster. For instance, recent testing shows an average of 67 percent increase in input message processing, or messages being sent to the Fusion system, and an average of 80 percent increase in output message processing, or messages being sent to the end devices.

Version 3.0 also provides users with an improved and easy-to-use Web interface to manage and monitor the messages being sent throughout the organization.
