Amcom Software Achieved Record Success in Healthcare During 2010
- Year-over-year sale order growth of 34 percent with more than 900 healthcare deals completed

MINNEAPOLIS, MN December 15, 2010 Amcom Software, Inc. today announced that 2010 was a year of substantial worldwide growth for the company in the healthcare market, with a record 34 percent increase in sales orders over the past 12 months. Amcom achieved notable traction with its smartphone messaging and pager replacement solution, Amcom Mobile Connect, as well as its mobile event notification middleware and hospital contact center solutions.
Amcom continued to enhance its healthcare suite with new product releases that address market needs for evolving communications. For smartphone messaging in particular, Amcom expanded capabilities beyond BlackBerry smartphones to include the iPhone and Android. The solution was also enhanced to feature encrypted messaging and a password-protected inbox across all three platforms, as well as Wi-Fi and BlackBerry Internet Service Push support for BlackBerry device users.
2010 Highlights:

- Met with 250 customers at six regional user conferences to discuss the latest Amcom products and how Amcom can help address the challenges hospitals face today
- Began executing on an aggressive investment plan across the entire healthcare solution suite including adding many new resources to further the development of its market-leading solutions and new products
- Increased Amcom's presence in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa as well as in the Asia-Pacific region
