Emergency Notification and Incident Communications
Amcom Software provides comprehensive solutions for fast, effective communication during an emergency or when a large number of people need to be notified of a common message. In fact, sending mass phone or email notifications is just the beginning. Amcom™ incident management and mass notification systems allow you to assign key team members with specific duties, track receipts, and leverage two-way response when fast action is required.
Mass Notification
Amcom mass notification systems include the ability to send specific messages to a mass audience via a preferred device list and track results. You can notify people in many ways, including wireless devices, numeric and alphanumeric pagers, home, office and cellular telephones, as well as email and networked LCD display panels. And the flexibility allows you to assign multiple methods of notification to each individual, and a priority level for each method. Some users also take advantage of the feature that allows you to create text alerts for display on networked LCD boards throughout a facility. This gives you the ability to launch messages to be displayed throughout the facility or campus via the phone or web browser interface, improving the coverage of your notification.
Emergency Notification and incident management
Many of the most discriminating organizations in the world rely on Amcom emergency notification and incident management solutions to communicate effectively during critical situations. Capabilities for two-way communications help these organizations deliver information and manage real-time responses and escalations while logging and recording the entire process. Think about how your employees and the public have come to depend on fast, accurate notification of critical information to prepare them and to ensure their safety in the event of a crisis. In a critical event, seconds count, and situational awareness is key.
In most cases, there are dependencies and differences in your organizational response plan. Communications and results vary based on assigned tasks, personnel availability, timing parameters, and prerequisites. Departmental and role-based response teams have specific tasks that must be completed in a very specific manner, and additional decisions and actions are based on the results of those tasks. As an incident unfolds and is addressed by many people, actions and responses also vary according to the current situation. Questions must be asked and answered. Results must be reported. You and your management team need accurate information in order to determine the correct response.
