Mobile Event Notification
Commtech Wireless, a Division of Amcom Software:
Amcom Messenger (formerly BASEPage 2000) and the Fusion Series Solutions
Effective technology that integrates once-disparate systems in ways that improve response time and safety is now vital for efficient communications in many industries, including healthcare, hospitality, public safety, manufacturing, and government sectors. Mobile event notification integrates your critical alert and alarm systems to the mobile communication devices carried by your staff, allowing the right people to receive notifications and take fast action. Where beeps and alarms used to suffice for everything from simple requests to emergency management programs, meaningful messages delivered quickly to team members on the go are the new rule.
Getting Critical Alerts to Your Staff Instantly
Demand for this kind of technology has become especially strong considering the number of systems that need to be monitored and the trend of an increasingly mobile workforce. Amcom Software's mobile event notification connects virtually all crucial alert systems, including nurse call systems, fire, security, patient monitoring, and building management, to mobile staff via their wireless communication devices. These devices can include DECT Wi-Fi phones, two-way radios, mobile phones, Vocera badges, pagers, and many more. The ability to reach mobile team members within seconds improves overall work flow, staff productivity, and the comfort and safety of everyone in your facility.
Real-time delivery of important alerts to the people who can act on them not only strengthens the efficiency of your operations, but it also saves lives.

Fusion Messaging Solutions
The Fusion Series is a cost-effective, low-maintenance, and easy-to-manage approach to messaging that is ideal for sites with small to medium requirements. Fusion is available in either desktop design or as a 19” rack-mount solution that acts as a self-contained device. Alarms and event notifications can be received from third-party systems via low-level outputs (closed-contact or opto-coupled), serial or IP connectivity.
The Event Management Module (EMM) is the centralised hub of the innovative Fusion series. The EMM can connect numerous other modules within the range to offer a tailored messaging solution. The “plug and play” nature of the equipment ensures that setup and configuration of the equipment is simple and fast, while maintenance can be conducted easily, even by a remote technician logging in over via the Internet, LAN or WAN. Being an embedded application server device, the Fusion series is not reliant on a PC or server environment and is also fully backward compatible with Amcom Messenger enterprise messaging solution, as well as the Commtech Wireless Reporting solution.

Amcom Messenger (Formerly BASEPage, BASEPage 2000)
Amcom Messenger (formerly BASEPage) is the evolution of our enterprise software messaging suite designed specifically for sites requiring advanced functionality or those with medium-large scale messaging requirements. Unlimited users, recipients/contacts, connectivity to third-party input and output systems have made Amcom Messenger the solution of choice for many leading organisations globally.
Amcom Messenger is a centralised hub for all messaging, paging and connectivity to third-party systems. Once received, alarms are filtered and processed by an advanced rule processing engine before being sent to selected recipients or groups via their preferred notification device. Receiving devices can include DECT or Wi-Fi telephony or badges, pagers, mobile phones, PDAs, smartphones, digital radio or TETRA. Alarms and event notifications can be received from third-party systems via low-level outputs (closed-contact or opto-coupled), serial or IP connectivity.
Ultimately, the ability to reach mobile team members within seconds improves overall workflow, staff productivity, and the comfort and safety of everyone in your facility. Timely delivery of important alerts to the people who can act on them not only strengthens the efficiency of your operations, but it can also improve staff retention, increase the bottom line, and most importantly help to save lives.

Reporting
Amcom Software solutions provide comprehensive reporting of all events, including time/date stamps, recipients, and their responses. In addition, Amcom Software's reporting system is able to provide information from multiple messaging systems involving multiple sites, enabling the comparison of events and staff response times across your entire enterprise.
Our dedicated reporting software is fully compatible with both the Fusion and Amcom Messenger product suites, providing comprehensive reporting of the full audit trail to dissect alarms and events after they have occurred. Management can accurately pinpoint the source of all alarms, events and notifications within through the system; messages recipients; delivery methods; and time frames. This includes the capability to measure specifically staff response times to critical events.
