Reporting of Key Events and Staff Response
A valuable log to track Messaging, paging, and Alerts
The Commtech Wireless Reporting Module collects and stores data on the hundreds of events that occur throughout facilities running Fusion™ and Amcom Messenger™ every day. Reports can be generated on either the messages or alarms that are sent and registered by the Commtech Wireless middleware solutions.
The Reporting Module allows users to receive unique or regularly scheduled reports to measure key performance indicators for their organisation. These reports ensure that the correct message or alert is delivered in seconds to the appropriate recipients because every message is permanently archived in the system with date and time stamps. Leading organisations are using this reporting solution today to monitor response times to events, eliminate workplace inefficiencies, manage staff shortage issues, and even reduce the possibility of litigation.
This module provides invaluable data for management relying on our solutions within any of our core vertical markets:
- Acute Care/Hospitals
- Aged Care
- Agriculture/Farming
- Casinos/Gaming
- Emergency Services
- Hospitality
- Mining
- Occupational Health & Safety
- Ports
- Security/Courts/Prisons
Password Protection
In order to access the data generated by the Reporting Module, a username and password are required. Administrators are able to control access to sensitive data by setting account privileges for each user. Administration features allow staff to be granted access to alarm reports, message reports, or both.
Multiple Sites / Remote Access
The devices configuration dialog in the Reporting Module lets users add additional devices or solutions to the overall reporting system. Using a standard HTML browser, users with the relevant security privileges can access the Reporting Module, select a device, and run a report. This means that even a healthcare network comprised of multiple facilities can generate real-time reports from any of their sites via the Internet.
Get the Right Information
When running a report, you can apply filters so that only the required information appears on the finished report. The Reporting Module provides the capability to filter by time, user, text in the message, recipient, and more. The reports allow management to determine when and where the busy shifts and locations occur for the organisation, so staff numbers can be adjusted accordingly. This can be helpful to manage staff shortage issues and subsequent staff distribution across one or multiple sites.
Message Reporting
The Reporting Module lets you generate detailed reports on the messages that have been sent and received across the facility via an Amcom Messenger or Fusion solution. You can even configure the reporting system to generate detailed reports on all data being processed across multiple remote sites simultaneously. This is a helpful feature for larger organisations wishing to generate group reports across multiple sites. With an intuitive interface, it is easy to see a notification’s recipient and the status of the message.
Alarm Reporting
Alarm reports contain information on the notifications generated from clinical and safety systems. This reporting functionality allows users to track specific alarms, the messages sent, and the duration of the alarm (i.e., duration of the time from the alarm being raised to the time the alarm is serviced/cancelled).
Versatile Report Interface
The information displayed in both the messages and alarms report dialog can be expanded or collapsed to display or hide elements of the report. Management is therefore able to access information in an at-a-glance format that is concise and easily understood.
Export Data
Using the standard report display window, data can be zoomed, reformatted and exported for use in an external Microsoft® Excel® spreadsheet or database program. The export function also allows users to export the report as a PDF for easy printing. Additionally, the Reporting Module allows importing into Crystal Reports®.
Reduce Litigation Risk
Tracking who has sent, received, and responded to notifications can be accomplished via regularly scheduled reports. This information enables organisations to comply with relevant legislations around occupational health and safety issues, which reduces the threat of litigation because every message handled by the system is documented. Management can also use this audit trail functionality to measure efficiencies, improving response times to events across all linked facilities.
