Commtech Wireless was established in 1992 in Perth, Western Australia. From this head office, 7,000+ alarm integration and messaging solutions have been delivered via a global distributor model to facilities in 53 countries. Leading organisations and groups within healthcare, hospitality, gaming, industry, mining & resources, government and the public sector have come to rely daily on Commtech Wireless solutions for the purpose of linking their many disparate third-party systems and notifying staff of key events in real time.

Going Global

A success story which has since blossomed from our inception, the business became international in 2001 with the opening of our designated USA office in Florida. In 2007 Commtech Wireless expanded into Europe with the opening of our first designated European arm, now located in London. With satellite offices in South Africa and Asia, we also provide support to 2,000+ partners globally.

Amcom Software Acquires Commtech Wireless

In 2008, Amcom Software purchased Commtech Wireless. Amcom is a USA-based provider of mission-critical communications solutions. Amcom Software is a market leader in its space for healthcare, hospitality, education, government, and industry solutions. Through the unification of these two amazing success stories, Amcom Software has expanded the traditional scope of Commtech Wireless’ offerings, introducing a vast range of exciting solutions to the APAC market.

Integrated Alarm Management: Commtech Messenger

This client/server application binds together information from multiple disparate systems and directs messages to wireless devices. Commtech Messenger is an enterprise-grade messaging system that represents the evolution of our renouned BASEPage paging system. Typically, the inputs are from systems such as nurse call, fire, security, security, building management, etc. Commtech Messenger provides fast, reliable dispatch of critical messages to pagers, cellular phones, wireless telephone handsets, email, and wireless display boards. Integrated Alarm Management: Fusion Series

A scalable, modular messaging system developed to cater to the under-represented market between desktop paging and high-level software messaging systems. The Fusion Series is a scalable, modular approach to messaging. The Fusion Series comprises of a number of modules that provide alarm monitoring, Interactive Voice Response (IVR), Quad Band GSM/CDMA SMS (Text) Messaging, and a range of protocol convertors.

The INTELPage units in the Fusion Series range, with several units of varying transmission power (5W to 100W) can be used with POCSAG receivers that remain in close proximity to the transmitter, all the way up to the creation of a national paging network. Learn More
