How do I register for Connect 08?

Registering is simple and can be done online at https://secure5.inet7.com/amcomsoftware-com/reg_Connect_08.aspx.

Will I receive a confirmation for my online registration?

Yes. A confirmation will be emailed to you when your registration has been processed or check is received.

How can I make changes to my conference registration?

Changes to your conference registration can be made at any time before the conference by contacting Emily Vogt at evogt@amcomsoft.com or 952.230.5346.

What if I paid for registration and cannot attend? Can I send someone else in my place?

Yes. If this situation arises, please contact Emily Vogt at evogt@amcomsoft.com or 952.230.5346.

What is the registration cost of Connect 08?

• An early bird special registration rate of $595 is in effect now through Friday, June 13th
• After June 13th, the regular registration rate will be $696/person.
• There is a special group rate for organizations that are sending three or more representatives. Each registrant will receive $50 off his/her registration fee.

What other costs should I plan on?

Registration covers admission to the entire conference, which includes all sessions, product labs, entertainment and all snacks and meals. Besides the registration, your only other costs would be transportation to and from Connect 08 and hotel.

 

What methods of payment are accepted?

Credit card (Visa, Mastercard and American Express) are accepted as well as corporate checks.

What about accommodations?

Amcom has a special room block set aside for customers at the Renaissance Hotel, which is attached to The Depot.

How do I reserve my hotel?

Call 612.375.1700 or 866.211.4611 and ask for reservations. Be sure you mention "Amcom Users’ Conference" to take advantage of the special event rate of $179/night. The special room rate of $179/night ends on September 19, 2008.

Will I receive a confirmation from the hotel for my reservation?

Yes. You will receive a separate email from The Depot/Renaissance Hotel confirming your stay.

How can I make changes to my hotel reservation?

Changes to your hotel can be made directly with the The Depot/Renaissance Hotel by calling 612-375-1700 or 866.211.4611.

Can I get the special event rate for the hotel if I am coming in early for the conference or staying later?

Yes. Amcom has negotiated with the Renaissance hotel to extend the special event rate of $179/night to three nights before and three nights after the conference.

Is a rental car needed?

No, it is not necessary to rent a car because the hotel is attached to the conference property. Also, transportation will be provided for all conference events that happen to be off site. Your are, however, responsible for transportation to and from the airport.

What is the conference cancellation policy?

You will be refunded 100% of your registration fee if you cancel prior to September 1, 2008. Attendees that cancel after this deadline will be refunded 50% of their paid registration fee. Cancellations must be emailed to Emily Vogt at evogt@amcomsoft.com.

What is the dress code for the conference?

Attendees are recommended to wear business casual during the day and casual attire for the evening functions.
